Our History

Mad River Enterprises is founded by Jim Rousseau in 2003 amidst a budding wireless industry. For over a decade MRE served small business, resorts and education campuses.

Doing business as NOWIRZ, in 2004, Mad River Enterprises was the first in New England to deploy a wireless mesh network over 30 guest houses and 25 acres of land for the Trapp Family Lodge. This network would remain operational for over 10 years before fiber was installed. Mad River Enterprises is the company where innovation meets excellence.

Mad River Enterprises would remain fully operational until 2015 when founder Jim Rousseau made a change to further his expertise and knowledge returning to corporate industry with Ruckus Networks. Mad River Enterprises remains a close partner with Ruckus Networks since 2010.
